ima happy bunny. Fashion week approaching- as always really looking forward to it but im preparing myself for a week of extreme exhaustion. This season im doing something totally new for Fashion Week. My tutor has asked me and 4 others from the first year to work with her at Julien Macdonald for 3 days and nights. note- NIGHTS. We have been warned of long hours and hard work. Ill be doing 2 days before the show working on the collection fittings with the models (ooooo beautiessss at my finger tipsss) and then the day of the show. Im expecting to be a nervous wreck relying on the good old rescue remedy cos i wont be able to sew shiiiiiittt under pressure and sleep deprived. I going to sleep so much this week in preparation. Anyway im really pleased that Anette actually trusts me enough to pick me! all expenses paid whoop whoop = Coffee coffee coffee : ) I hope I can hack it, i heard from people who did it last year that they slept in shifts- 2 hours each then up you get and back to work...... wish me luck pretties, i expect ill look like death warmed up by the end of it all. Oh Joy!

shirt project WRECKAGE

My next mission- to design and make a shirt as part of Commes Des Garcons ss 11 collection.
My inspiration wreckage, and damage. brackets Hiroshima. Its really fascinating me. As i love GDC this project is pleasent, after the blue project i need a break. Ill upload pictures when I find some goodens.
oh my laaawwwddd what I wouldnt do to see Commes Des Garcons show at Paris Fashion Week. I will be attempting to get in at ANY cost!

Friends, as you know ive been a little slack on the blogging front. This is due to uni being a total crazy nightmare right now. Workie workie workie, all in preparation for the Blue Project Fashion Show! Directed by Peter Jensen, a man who loves Nuts In May as much as i do, as well as a pretty cool designer too. Sooooo if y'all aint to busy please please come, should be really good and potentially my first ever fashion show! (if the devil tutors dont cut me!! fingers bloody crossed) .

One Word PARIS

Im so so excited about Paris!! I've just booked my ticket to Paris for Fashion Week! AMAZING : ) cant contain myself. Been emailing around for work, trying to pull some strinnnggss ; )

Im sure its going to be absolutely amazing. If i see Martin Margielas show i think ill drop dead with excitement. Oooooo I think its going to be a case of going to buy some lovely new bits so I look the part. Thank god my French lesson are going well, need to be fluent by next year! As i plan to be studying in France for 3 months! and ill be getting taught in French eeeeekkkk.

Also if you havnt been go to the Marc by Marc Jabocs shop in Mayfair- amazing, literally a designer pound shop, I had a field day. Go go check it ouuuut. Ill report back soon. I have exciting news to share.
