All i can say is i wish that i had the cute red shoes of dorethys, not to wish my self home but to away, back to Paris, back to the amazing Place Vendome where the Comme bubble i love so much is! It was the best experience of my life, everyone was beyond kind and I made some good friends. Everyone around me dressed head to toe in Comme des Garcons was enough of a treat, it was like 'fashion eye candy' amazing. The whole thing was great, arriving on my first day to a collection description from Rei Kawakubo, Junya Wantanabe and TAO. Rei the beauty described hers at "outside decorations" it was breath taking being in the same room as all these people who I would give anything to have just a pinch of their innovative talent. Junyas collection breakdown is a little fuzzy in my mind because someone pretty much passed out on me- so it must have been good! And TAO was dreammmmmyyyy " a flowing journey ". The show rooms where amazing, the collections looked so stunning i pinched my self many times and couldnt quiet believe it all. Even the food they gave us was THE BEST food i have ever had, so so much better then the pizza and mini rolls (retch) i got given as a meal at my last little job (meaaooooww, i know) but there's nothing about Comme des Garcons thats bad, the people where great, the environment was perfect the atmosphere exciting, I love Madame Kawakubos work, like I said in my uni admission statement- if it wasn't for Comme des Garcons I wouldn't be going into fashion.
Other then eating amazing food and admiring amazing people- oh i just remembered Steven Jones did the hats and he was in the showroom one day, me and Daniela got super excited (cont from before) I was at work in the CDG CDG showroom. Helping clients and buyers from alllll over select whats going into their shops and dressing the in house models it what ever we or they wanted *even the models where lovely, friendly and of course b-e-a-utiful. It was heaven down to a T.
I do have plenty of piccys from the showrooms and of the new collections but I gotta wait a while before I upload just incase : ) I dont wana be in anyone bad books. So yeah, if you want to see me at my happiest then take me back to Paris. x
